In July 2014, SGS NVIROCROP (Pty) Limited of South Africa was contracted to perform a thorough soil analysis survey.
The farm was dissected into 50-hectare grids and composite soil samples were collected and tested for each grid.
The +/- 170 composite soil sample test results demonstrate that the majority of the soils were of exceptionally high yielding potential. As an example, the yielding potential for maize under irrigation was indicated at 15,4 tons per hectare.
